इतिहास History
From 1988, South Indian families in the Research Triangle wanted a temple in their own tradition. Land on Balaji Place in Cary was bought in July 1998, a Bhoomi Puja was held in January 1999, and the town approved the zoning in 2002.
Building began in 2007, with fourteen artisans from India shaping the decorative figures by hand and the engineer Nand Gopal Sachdeva giving his work free. Prana Pratishtha for a 9-foot, 4,000-pound Venkateswara and eighteen other deities was performed on 29 May 2009, and Governor Roy Cooper opened the 87-foot Rajagopuram in October 2022.
