इतिहास History

In 1999 Satguru Sivaya Subramuniyaswami of Kauai's Hindu Monastery gave a 1,400-pound, four-foot Ganesha for a new temple in Arizona. The temple society was formed in 2000, and in 2002 a family donated 15 acres in Maricopa.

Ground was broken for an 8,000-square-foot temple on 25 August 2007; the first phase, with four towers, was finished in May 2008, when the murtis were consecrated. More murtis followed in 2011, and by 2014 sculptors had finished carving the four towers.
