इतिहास History
ISKCON's Dallas temple grew out of the Hare Krishna movement's early years in Texas and settled on Gurley Avenue, near Fair Park. Its deities are Radha and Krishna as Kalachandji, a name meaning 'the dark moon'.
For more than 40 years the temple's restaurant, Kalachandji's, has served Ayurvedic-style vegetarian meals in a courtyard garden beside the temple, and Dallas papers and magazines regularly list it among the city's best restaurants.
